The mentor–founder–guide of this epoch making movement, Pandit Sriram Sharma Acharya (1911-1990) perceived that the root cause of most problems affecting all sections of society today, is the fall in moral standards of man , which gives birth to corrupt ideologies. He was convinced that there can be no localized solutions to the present day problems, what ever ways and means be adopted. Morality and reform has to be taught at the very grass root level

Samarpan follows the above ideology as its lodestone. It is engaged in planning, programming and execution of  grass root level projects for establishing self sustaining villages as centers of excellence.
